Where can I buy an AntiLog datalogger?
The AntiLog is available for delivery worldwide from this website. Please visit the online shop to make a purchase.
How long will AntiLog run from a battery?
Using the standard alkaline battery supplied will allow you to run your AntiLog for at least 60 hrs – typically 72 hrs. Longer operation of up to 7 days (168 hrs) is possible if a lithium battery is used. The lithium-manganese battery is available from our online store.
Do you make a multi-channel version of AntiLog?
Yes, the V4.0 & V4.2 firmware provides 2-channel logging, with the ability to have completely different set-ups for each channel (baud rate etc.). Although physically identical to the 1-channel (V3) the 9-way D-sub connector now supports two channels, and if required an optional 'Y' splitter lead is available. What does the ‘Military’ option give me?
This is a firmware option which will only be of interest to customers using military GPS receivers, providing them with additional menu options to control the recording and real-time playback of ICD-GPS-150, ICD-GPS-153 and other compatible military/government/civil GPS Instrumentation Port (IP) data streams. The ICD-GPS-15X series data streams use a standard Rockwell Collins binary protocol, as opposed to formatted ASCII text lines used by NMEA. For more information on this option refer to the AntiLog-M Manual Supplement.
I want to be able to control my AntiLog without disconnecting it from the data source - is this possible?
AntiLog’s single physical connector has two RS232 ports provided on it, and although these cannot be used to log data from two separate sources, by means of a ‘Y’ lead, both your PC and your data source can be connected simultaneously.
How does the OEM AntiLog differ from the cased version?
Functionally they are identical, but with the OEM board, the user is not provided with the ON and OFF switches, status LED, and battery for the real-time-clock. The firmware is identical in the cased and un-cased (OEM) versions.
